Jungle Justice Trips
Art Aids Art leads annual Jungle Justice Trips to Cape Town, South Africa, combining social action and experiential education with a visit to one of the most spectacular locations on earth. These intensive cultural exchanges focus on direct service, enabling participants to become agents of change by providing education and training to South Africans. Adults and youth aged 14-up are invited to participate.
- literacy, program development, technical assistance and other projects in Khayelitsha Township
- excursions to culturally significant sites such as Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 27 years
- sightseeing trips to the top of Table Mountain, along the False Bay coast to see endangered penguins, and throughout the Cape Peninsula, one of the world’s most biodiverse ecosystems
In addition to Jungle Justice Trips, there are year-round opportunities to participate in community projects. Guests stay at Blue On Blue, a business-supporting-the-arts, and collaborate with participating nonprofit organizations. Contact us for further details.
