Reproductive Health: Girls to Women
As eKhaya eKasi Center reaches its seventh birthday, we are acutely aware of the passage of time.
Students like Nelisiwe and Sisipho who entered our after-school program years ago as little girls are
approaching womanhood. In the AIDS capital of the world, we want to be sure that these young ladies have
the knowledge to make safe, responsible decisions.
To meet this critical need, Art Aids Art is launching a young women's reproductive health and sexuality education
program. Participants will learn about their bodies, provide mutual support to address peer pressure, and develop
communication skills to dispel myths and share life-saving facts with family and friends.
With your help, we can empower these young women – by caring for themselves, leading by example, and
sharing information – to make their community safer and healthier.
Your tax-deductible donation in support of these goals will increase educational opportunities for Khayelitsha’s
children and support the development of South Africa's next generation.
